Once upon a time, Isabelle Lockwood was a duchess.  Wrongly accused of adultery, divorced, and cast aside, she’s been hiding in the countryside… until she runs into her duke again by chance. This is one of those comfortable, stock romances: Pretty much exactly as you expect and all the more delightful for it. Complete with a nasty mummy-in-law!
