Review: The Fall of Lady Grace

Available July 29: The Fall of Lady Grace (Hqn)

****3.5/5 stars

Julia London excites (literally) in this Regency romance featuring a perfectly imperfect hero.

Recommended readers:

  • If you like Regency Romance especially Julia London
  • If  you like a little heat in your romances (and if you want my take on this, read this rant Skip the Sex, Authors)

Here’s my Rankings:

  • 3.5/5 for characters
  • 4.5/5 for plot
  • 4/5 overall
  • Note: 4/5 Pretty Steamy

REVIEW FROM BOOKS FOR HER:

Any historical romance reader knows Julian London, and her Cabot sister’s series is on-par with her usual.  In The Fall of Lady Grace, Grace Cabot and her three sisters are desperate … and Grace takes drastic measures putting her into the hands of the Earl of Merryton. The development of the romance has a slow and steady pace.  And I enjoyed the Earl of Merryton (despite his non-human will to withhold sex … are males really able to do this).  He was perfectly imperfect and a nice departure from the typical hero.  Read away if you like a regency romance and lots of steaminess.
