REVIEW FROM BOOKS FOR HER:

This one had all the makings of a good ol’ fashioned romance novel: independent beauty, tough but honorable hero, conflict, resolution, sex, and a cast of supporting characters from the rest of the series.  I was drawn in immediately by a chance encounter between estranged husband and wife, but the end I just didn’t buy the conflict that brought about estrangement in the first place. Independent beauty turned out to be a naive and a bit obnoxious.
