REVIEW FROM BOOKS FOR HER:

The Railwayman’s Wife is a touching, emotional read that will break your heart with a thoughtful smile. A little slow to get started, don’t give up on this post-World-War-II novel set in a small Australian coastal town. The novel builds and draws you in as you get to know the pain and suffering following war from several perspectives – a widow, a doctor and a solder-turned-poet. Without giving away the ending – which is worth getting to – it will break your heart again while giving you a new perspective on life.
