REVIEW FROM BOOKS FOR HER:
When war comes to Fascist Italy, Addie Montforte is given a second chance living with her aunt and uncle in America. There, on Chelsea beach, she meets the Connallys, a family of four boys very different from her own. When war comes to America’s shores, her romance with the eldest is challenged, taking her on a path she never expects, but the savvy reader does. An enjoyable, if predictable read, with just a little adventure and romance.
