Olive Torres and Ethan Thomas are the respective maid-of-honor and best man for their siblings’ wedding. There’s years of angst and build-up that have made Olive dread this role in the wedding – so when the newlyweds get sick after the wedding and both Olive and Ethan agree to take their spot on a honeymoon to Maui, there’s bound to be drama.

The Unhoneymooers is a give-me-stomach-butterflies type of story. Reminding me of the classic Bridget Jones at times, Olive is so loveable and relate-able. Christina Lauren’s newest fiction captures the humor of a real-girl, modern romance, but somehow reminds us that good guys are still out there. The writing duo’s latest fiction gives you all the feels.
