While many of this previous novels relied heavily on warden Joe Pickett, he’s recently expanded … now featuring recently fired investigator Cassie Dewell, who took the blame for a missed arrest of a serial killer. Yet her chase continues and Box’s latest is suspense at it’s best: a mix of intrigue, action and twists. You won’t want to miss this!
