For seven years Lady Cassandra Monroe has written Captain Julian while he’s been at war – but when he returns and she has a chance to act on her feelings, something crazy happens. Some silly mishaps and other events make it even harder for these two likable characters to meet, making this an amusing read and a nice follow-up to The Unexpected Duchess – also by Valerie Bowman.
