REVIEW FROM RYDER:

Ryder is 8 years old and starting 3rd grade. He loves to read lots of boy stories. Here is his unedited review:

This book is about a captain of a spaceship trying to not get married to an alien. I would rate this a 9 out of 10. It has adventure and there’s lots of action.

REVIEW FROM BOOKS FOR HER:

With Ryder’s 9/10 rating, this book gets an automatic 3-stars. I chose  not to upgrade this book because I had such a hard time reading it myself.  Visually it’s really hard to read (how did my 8-year-old do it?!) because each page has from five to 10 words that are prominently displayed using random word art fonts.  Geronimo Stilton is a favorite among kids with 60-plus books out, so there must be something working with the word-art designs – I’m just not a fan.
