Available June 3: The Art of Arranging Flowers

****3.5/5 starsThe Art of Arranging Flowers by Lynne Branard

Sometimes its just nice to take someone else’s emotional journey …

Recommended readers:

  • If you’re looking for an emotional read
  • If you want a slow paced story

Here’s my Rankings:

  • 3.5/5 for characters
  • 3.0/5 for plot
  • .3.5/5 overall
  • Note: Steamy factor (0 of 5)

This book was a nice change of pace – while I usually like books that keep you up wondering what’s next, The Art of Arranging Flowers had a nice, steady flow.  The everyday activity of Ruby Jewell’s flower shop should be mundane, but the story was told with such a nice cast of characters (human an d animal) in the small Northwestern town. In fact, I think the simpleness of the first part of the story gives the plot of the second half of the book more impact. It was a good read and if you read the publisher’s description of The Art of Arranging Flowers, it’s very accurate.
