REVIEW FROM BOOKS FOR HER:
This book was a nice change of pace – while I usually like books that keep you up wondering what’s next, The Art of Arranging Flowers had a nice, steady flow. The everyday activity of Ruby Jewell’s flower shop should be mundane, but the story was told with such a nice cast of characters (human an d animal) in the small Northwestern town. In fact, I think the simpleness of the first part of the story gives the plot of the second half of the book more impact. It was a good read and if you read the publisher’s description of The Art of Arranging Flowers, it’s very accurate.
